What full hookup actually means here

Fifteen sites, each with 50 amp power, water and sewer at the pad, so nothing about a stay here depends on a dump station or a water fill run. The surface is gravel across the whole row, and the row itself was put in new in 2024, on the same property as the motel and the house rather than a separate lot down the road. The grass area, the picnic tables and the treehouse are a walk away, not a drive.

We have one photograph of the RV row today: a rig on gravel, the hookup pedestal, and the road in. A pad up close, and the row from ground level, are on the list and go up the week they are taken.

You book a site, not a pad number, and here is why

We would rather say this plainly than let you find out at check in. Fifteen sites exist on the ground right now. Which numbered site sits where, how long and how wide each pad actually is, whether it is back in or pull through, how level it sits, and how far it sits from the buildings: none of that has been measured and written down yet. We are walking the whole property and mapping it on 30 September 2026.

Until that map exists, we sell an RV site rather than a specific numbered pad. Tell us the length of your rig when you book, and we will not put you somewhere it does not fit. If one of the unmeasured details above decides your trip, email info@stayatcedarlodge.com before you book and we will go and measure that specific thing rather than guess at it.

Check in and check out

Check in on an RV site is after 2 PM, and check out is noon, both different from a room or the house, which run 4 PM and 10 AM. If you reach us after 10 PM, park in the marked late arrival pull through and set up after 7 AM rather than working a full hookup in the dark.

Minimum stay on an RV site is one night, with no cutoff time on a self check in: we email a keypad code for the property on the day you arrive, so a late arrival still works.

The rest of the property, while you are here

An RV site puts you on the same ground as the motel rooms and the house, not a separate campground. The grass area, the treehouse and the picnic tables are shared, and you are walking distance from the motel’s covered walkway if the weather turns. Standing burned trees are visible on the ridge behind the property, left from the 2021 Dixie Fire: worth knowing before you arrive rather than after.

What to bring

• Your rig’s actual length, to tell us at booking, not an estimate.
• Your own sewer hose and fittings. The hookup is at the pad, the connection is yours.
• A leveling kit. We have not measured how level each pad sits, so come prepared rather than assume flat gravel.
• Chains, if you are arriving in winter. Our own chain control guide covers what R1, R2 and R3 mean on the two highways that reach us.
